'Clients not Customers'

With many financial advisory firms claiming to have hundreds or even thousands of clients, these are what we identify as customers.

Whilst some simple aspects of financial advice such as a mortgage for your first house can be purchased, investment and retirement planning requires ongoing advice with regular reviews of where investments are made to take into account your attitude to investment risk, changes in circumstances and ever changing legislation and investment market conditions. It is in these areas we work closely with our clients throughout the relationship we build. We are often referred within family members to advise on wider issues such as avoidance of inheritance tax.

We work with Individuals, Business Owners, Trustees and Large Corporations on a wide variety of financial matters, but whatever aspect we are advising on it always boils down to building and preserving wealth. See Areas of advice for details of the specific areas we advise on.

Our individual clients typically fall into one of two main categories as described below:

Busy Professional

You are a busy professional who recognises the importance of financial planning to fulfil your life goals and maximise the return on your hard work.

Your Main Objectives

You typically want to build wealth and protect it against unforeseen circumstances.
You want effective planning to reduce tax you pay during your working life whilst maximising income available in retirement.

Retired or Approaching Retirement

You are either retired or approaching retirement and desire financial independence to support your active social life, wanting to enjoy your pastimes and leisure activities without financial worries.

Your Main Objectives

You typically want to maximise your income, whilst safeguarding it by reducing risk to your capital and minimising the tax you pay. You will often have other needs of planning for payment of care fees, or wanting to avoid inheritance tax duties.

If you don’t fall into either of the above categories don't worry, these are only general guidelines; we deal with a wide range of different clients. Contact us to find out how we can help you with your financial planning. We offer an initial consultation without obligation and as it is at our expense.
